Use of the LoadWatcher.com Services requires collection of commercial drivers’ precise location data through the mobile application. Whenever you use the mobile application, LoadWatcher.com will collect detailed location and route information, for example in the form of GPS signals and other information sent by the mobile device to which the application is installed and activated. As a commercial driver, if you grant the LoadWatcher.com mobile application permission to access your mobile operating system, we will collect the precise location of your device. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address or phone number, and we may receive information about your location from third parties.
LoadWatcher.com also collects information about the use of the website and LoadWatcher.com services (“meta-data”). LoadWatcher.com will link all of your location and route information to your account and that information will be visible to LoadWatcher.com and authorized users associated with the shipment(s). Through our Services, we may share your information with other authorized users at their request, including shippers and carriers, or third parties at the request of shippers or carriers. For instance we may share your name, personal photo, vehicle photo and other information, location and providing estimated pick-up and delivery times.
We will also collect and maintain a record of the shipping documents, including delivery confirmations, bill of lading, invoices, etc. for each shipment conducted through the use of LoadWatcher.com Services.
